1:1 Functional Health Coaching

Functional Health Program for Women With
Chronic Fatigue, Hormone Imbalances
& Digestive Issues

Finally get the support you need to overcome your chronic symptoms once and for all without quick fixes, band-aid solutions, or magic pills.

You know something is off—and you’re ready for answers

You’ve spent years trying to find answers to your chronic symptoms and doing everything “right” — endless doctors appointments, restrictive diets, taking supplements, exercising regularly, and avoiding toxins.

Yet, no matter how hard you try, your symptoms won’t go away.

In many cases, they’ve only gotten worse, with new symptoms appearing out of nowhere.

The constant fatigue. The unpredictable digestive issues. Your moods swing in ways that don’t feel like you. The brain fog makes simple tasks feel impossible. Your skin flares, your head aches, and even sleep no longer feels restorative.

And perhaps the most disorienting part? Your labs always come back “normal.”

You’re told it’s stress, or age, or just how things are now. So you start to wonder if it’s all in your head—if maybe you’re the problem.

You’re not. And it isn’t.

You’ve spent so long trying to manage symptoms that you barely recognize yourself anymore. But you deserve to feel like your normal self again.

Your symptoms aren't random—they're signals

Fatigue, bloating, anxiety, PMS, headaches, restless nights—these aren’t a collection of unrelated problems. They’re signs of underlying stress and imbalance within your metabolism.

When one system is struggling, it cascades to all other areas of the body. Your hormones, your gut, your immune system, your energy production—they’re all in constant communication.

That’s why chasing symptoms one at a time often leaves you frustrated. True healing happens when we stop looking at symptoms as separate problems and start understanding how the entire system works together.

The symptoms may look different, but they’re often connected by the same underlying imbalances.

Exhaustion & Burnout

Feeling chronically fatigued, unmotivated, and struggling with brain fog no matter how much you sleep.

Bloating & Digestive Issues

It doesn’t matter how clean you eat or how restrictive your diet is, your gut constantly acts up out of nowhere.

Hormone & period Issues

Whether you’re dealing PMDD, PCOS, or severe PMS – you dread your periods and only feel normal for like one week of your cycle.

Acne, Eczema or other skin issues

You can’t figure out what’s causing your skin flare ups and no amount of creams or steroids seem to help.

Why you're still stuck

If you’ve been relying on surface-level solutions like:

  • melatonin for sleep
  • birth control for hormone or period issues
  • antacids for reflux
  • laxatives for constipation
  • or pain relievers for headaches and period cramps

…You already know the frustrating truth: they may offer temporary relief, but they don’t address what’s actually driving your symptoms beneath the surface.

So instead of getting better, you find yourself managing the same symptoms over and over again—reaching for another pill, another supplement, or another quick fix just to get through the day.

That’s because these approaches are designed to manage symptoms—rather than fix the underlying root cause. And until those deeper imbalances are identified, lasting relief remains out of reach.

A different approach: Test, don't guess

My approach is rooted in one simple belief: your symptoms are happening for a reason.

Instead of guessing what that reason is—or throwing random supplements at it in hopes something works—we take a data-driven approach to uncover what’s actually disrupting your metabolism.

Using advanced functional lab testing, we look beneath the surface to identify the H.I.D.D.E.N. stressors driving your symptoms so we can address the root cause head-on:

The H.I.D.D.E.N. Stressors

Together, we’ll uncover metabolic stressors in these 6 core areas that are driving your symptoms and design a personalized plan to start correcting exactly what imbalances are present in your body:

Meet Your Practitioner

Hi, I’m Tara—and I’ve been exactly where you are.

For most of my 20s, I lived in a body I didn’t trust.
Bloating, stomach pain, constipation, food sensitivities from an unhealthy gut. Relentless anxiety and mood swings. Exhaustion so heavy it was hard to think straight. Severe PMS and menstrual pain that would take me out for days.

No matter how “healthy” I ate, my symptoms persisted. My labs came back “normal.” My doctors had no answers. And I was left wondering if this was just how life was going to be.

After nearly a decade and spending thousands of dollars, trying protocol after protocol, I decided to stop guessing and start really investigating. I trained as a Functional Nutrition Practitioner and learned how to connect the dots between gut health, hormones, minerals, and the nervous system. That’s when everything shifted—my gut healed, my energy returned, and I finally felt at home in my body again.

Now, I help other women do the same—without the wasted time, the endless trial-and-error, or the emotional burnout.

Gut Well is the program I wish I had in my 20s—one that blends data, strategy, and support to make this the last gut healing program you’ll ever need.

How It Works

01

BUILD THE FOUNDATIONS

We front-load much of the foundational work at the start of the program because supplements and protocols can only take you so far if the basics aren’t in place first.

During the first 4-6 weeks, we’ll focus on the foundational diet and lifestyle changes that support healthy digestion, balanced hormones, stable energy, and a resilient metabolism. This includes things like balancing blood sugar, removing inflammatory foods, increasing nutrient-dense foods, supporting digestion, opening detox pathways, and creating daily habits that reduce stress on the body.

The stronger your foundation, the better you’ll respond to your protocol and the more progress you’ll make with your health.

02

IMPLEMENTATION & ROOT CAUSE WORK

Once your lab results are in, we’ll uncover the H.I.D.D.E.N. stressors contributing to your symptoms and preventing your body from functioning optimally.

Using your personalized lab findings, we’ll create a targeted plan that may include nutritional supplements, strategic diet modifications, and lifestyle interventions designed specifically for your body’s needs.

With your foundation already in place, you’ll begin your 90-120 day corrective protocol to address underlying imbalances, restore function, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.

03

ONGOING SUPPORT & STAYING ON TRACK

Your body will be going through a lot of changes during your protocol, which is why ongoing support and guidance are such an important part of the process.

Throughout your protocol, we’ll closely monitor your progress, track changes in your symptoms, and make adjustments as needed. As your body begins to rebalance and function more efficiently, we’ll help you navigate any challenges, provide support, and ensure you’re moving in the right direction.

This phase is all about consistency, patience, and staying on track while giving your body the time it needs to heal.

04

REFINEMENT & LONG-TERM SUCCESS

As you complete your protocol, we’ll assess your progress and determine the best next steps for your health journey.

For some clients, this means transitioning into maintenance and confidently sustaining the habits that helped them achieve their results. For others, additional testing or deeper investigation may be appropriate, as long-standing health challenges sometimes require multiple rounds of targeted work to fully resolve.

Our goal is not just to help you feel better, but to make sure you have what you need to keep your results going long-term.

What Our Clients Say

Go Beyond Symptom Management for Lasting Relief

Right now, it may feel like your entire life revolves around trying to “manage” your symptoms — planning your days around energy crashes, digestive flare-ups, anxiety, or hormone issues.

But the truth is: you deserve to live your life without constantly worrying that your symptoms will act up out of nowhere.

You deserve to wake up feeling rested. To feel comfortable and confident in your body again. To trust that your body won’t suddenly turn against you with another flare-up, crash, or unexplained symptom.

You deserve to eat without fear. To make plans without wondering whether fatigue, IBS, or anxiety will ruin the experience. To stop overanalyzing every symptom, every food, and every reaction your body has.

No more brain fog that makes everyday tasks feel harder than they should be.

No more unpredictable digestion, constant stress, debilitating period cramps, or feeling like you can’t trust your own body.

This is about more than just symptom relief.

It’s about restoring your health, your confidence, your energy, and your quality of life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

My services are not covered by insurance.  For many reasons, this can be advantageous. When practitioners are governed by insurance contracts, they are limited in the quality of care they can provide because care is rationed under insurance. Many necessary services are not covered, especially in the area of prevention, nutrition, and functional lab testing. Under insurance, clients must be dismissed before they are fully healed. Limiting care is profitable for insurance companies but it can compromise patient satisfaction and quality of care.

The benefits of paying out-of-pocket for health care services is that the client has more decision making power to choose the types of lab testing, support, and interventions they need in order to achieve optimal health.

Some of the labs can be reimbursed with HSA/FSA. You will need to contact your HSA/FSA and confirm.

Yes, financing is available via Advance Care which offers 15-month financing at zero interest for good to excellent credit scores. The Financing covers both the cost of the program & lab fees. Supplement costs are separate and not included in the financing plan.

I can work with anyone located in the U.S. and select international countries, depending on your package and access to lab testing. Feel free to contact me if you live in a country outside the U.S. and are interested in working with me.

While I always advocate for a food first approach, there is no doubt about it, supplements are essential for correcting imbalances in the body and speeding up the healing process. Supplement protocols are dependent on what imbalances are present with the goal of keeping them as refined and succinct as possible. On average, clients should budget about $100-$200 USD/month for supplements, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. The supplement protocols typically last around 120 days on average.

I specialize in helping women struggling with chronic gut and hormone issues—especially those who feel dismissed by conventional doctors and are told their labs are “normal” despite feeling anything but.

Some of the most common issues I help with include (but not limited to):
  • Digestive symptoms – bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, IBS, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease
  • Hormonal imbalances – irregular periods, PMS, PCOS, heavy or painful cycles, estrogen dominance, thyroid conditions
  • Chronic fatigue – waking up exhausted, afternoon crashes, feeling wired but tired
  • Brain fog – trouble focusing, forgetfulness, mental sluggishness
  • Food sensitivities & intolerances – reacting to foods without clear answers as to why
  • Skin issues – acne, eczema, rosacea, unexplained rashes
  • Poor stress resilience – anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, difficulty handling daily stress
  • Blood sugar imbalances – sugar cravings, energy dips, feeling “hangry”

Rather than just focusing on your symptoms, my focus is on helping you uncover and address the underlying dysfunction behind your symptoms. If you’re struggling with persistent gut health issues, hormone imbalances, or feeling chronically unwell despite “normal” labs, my Gut Well program is designed to give you real answers and sustainable solutions to improve gut health.

Your body is designed to perform at 100%, and the functional approach helps identify what is out of balance in order to get your body working “normally” again. Whether you’re experiencing fatigue, depression, unrelenting digestive systems, menstrual irregularities, or unexplained weight gain, the functional approach maintains that your symptoms are not the problem, they are the result of the problem. Unfortunately, many of us spend years stuck in a cycle of trial and error in an attempt to alleviate those symptoms. Rather than wasting time, money, and energy suppressing symptoms, the functional approach aims to “reverse engineer” the root cause of hidden stress in the body.

This is one of the most common questions I get—and the honest answer is, it depends.

If it took you 10+ years to get to where you are now, you likely won’t experience a full turnaround in just a few weeks. But with my root-cause approach, most of my clients see significant improvements within 6 months.

The length of the healing process varies from person to person and depends on the severity and complexity of the imbalances driving your symptoms. A general rule of thumb is that it takes about 2 months of healing for every year you’ve been unwell—sometimes more.

Your consistency and commitment to the process also play a major role in your results. Typically, your progress reflects the effort you put in. For example, if you’re showing up at about 50% effort and consistency, you can expect around 50% improvement. At 80% effort, you’ll likely see 80% improvement. Of course, there are always exceptions, but this is the general trend I see with my clients.
I currently do not offer single session consults, or pay-as-you-go sessions. The health-rebuilding process often requires a lot of time, resources, and guidance that cannot be provided over a few one-off sessions. My goal as a practitioner is to provide my clients with the transformational, long-lasting results that they desire, and that requires comprehensive support and a long-term commitment in order to be achieved.

In addition, many clients do not know how to support themselves through the many ups and downs that can happen during the health-rebuilding process. In my experience, it is a disservice to provide a client with an extensive health-rebuilding plan over one session without the on-going guidance on how to navigate that process successfully.

For those who are not ready for or not able to afford my comprehensive 1:1 program,  I offer an HTMA mini package which includes an HTMA lab interpretation & single review session at a very affordable price. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about that.
Both functional medicine and functional nutrition aim to address the root cause of health issues rather than just masking symptoms. However, their approaches differ in key ways.

Functional medicine is often practiced by doctors or licensed healthcare providers (i.e.: registered dietitians or nurses) who use advanced lab testing to diagnose imbalances and chronic diseases. While this can be helpful, functional medicine approaches sometimes rely heavily on supplements and protocols that focus on fixing individual issues rather than supporting the body as a whole. Appointments may also be more spaced out, leaving gaps in hands-on support and accountability.

Functional nutrition, on the other hand, takes a more holistic and sustainable approach. As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN), I use functional lab testing to uncover the underlying stressors affecting your gut and hormones, but instead of just handing you a supplement plan and sending you on your way, I focus on nutrient dense food-first strategies, lifestyle shifts, and 1:1 coaching that help your body restore balance naturally. I also provide ongoing support to help you integrate these changes into your daily life—so you’re not left to figure it out on your own.
Due to the deep level of detoxification involved, this program is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding moms.

However, it’s an excellent choice for preconception to help you prepare your body for a healthy pregnancy. It’s also a great option post-breastfeeding to support healing and replenishment after that season of life.
