Free H.i.D.D.E.N. Stressors Guide

Discover my exact root-cause approach to uncover the hidden imbalances driving your invisible symptoms, and how to address them in a practical, sustainable way without fad diets or quick fixes.

If doing the ‘bare minimum’ of your responsibilities is all you have energy for, while the rest of your time is spent on the couch just trying to recover...

You’re in the right place.

You are an incredibly smart woman who's done everything "right" but you're still feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by your uncontrollable symptoms

You’ve been able to accomplish so much in your career and in your life, which just makes your pervasive symptoms even more frustrating because no matter what you do they just seem to be getting worse.

You’re doing your best to take care of yourself. You’re eating healthy. Trying the latest supplements. Genuinely trying to improve your health.

But no matter what you try, you still feel:

Exhausted even after 10 hours of sleep

Like your body just isn’t responding the way it used to

That no amount of healthy eating and electrolytes seems to make a difference

Ready to cry for absolutely no reason on a random Tuesday afternoon

It’s not in your head

Most days, it feels like you can barely muster up enough energy just to get through your work day…

the rest of the time you are rotting on the couch trying to recover.

Your entire life starts to revolve around managing your unmanageable symptoms. All you want is to feel like a normal functioning person again — but you’re starting to question if that’s even possible anymore. And no matter what you try, you can’t seem to get any real answers, or relief.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel

You can feel better in your 30s and 40s than you did in your 20s.

Whether you’re dealing with chronic fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, or all of the above — just because you’re getting into your late 30s and 40s does not mean this is the way it has to be. In fact, these can be some of the best years when you take control of your health.

This work has helped clients overcome even the most complex and confusing symptoms — chronic fatigue, IBS, PCOS, thyroid issues, autoimmune conditions — and start to feel like a healthy, normal functioning person again, even after years (and sometimes decades) of suffering in silence.

Here's a small example of what's possible on the other side of addressing your biggest symptoms:

(Even if you don’t believe it yet, this is what life can look like.)

01

Steady energy to have a life outside of work again — hobbies, friends, things you actually want to do.

02

Work feels like an enjoyable challenge instead of a miserable obligation you have to survive.

03

A real sense of joy, happiness, and excitement for life again — not pretending while feeling dead inside.

04

No more crippling anxiety about how unpredictable symptoms will ruin your day. Your health is finally under control.

Meet Your Functional Health Practitioner

Hi, I’m Tara!
(And former “I have every random symptom in the book” survivor.)

I am a Functional Health Practitioner who knows exactly what it’s like to live a life controlled by unpredictable symptoms. Even though I looked “normal” on the outside, I struggled for years with digestive issues, severe menstrual cycle symptoms, debilitating fatigue, anxiety, and what felt like a new, random symptom popping up every month. Yet no matter how many times I sought help from my doctor, my lab work always came back “normal”.

After almost a decade of trying every diet, wellness trend, and practitioner imaginable, I became obsessed with understanding the deeper root causes behind chronic symptoms and trained as a Functional Nutrition Practitioner to bridge the gaps I felt were missing in both conventional and alternative approaches.

Now I help women who feel stuck and defeated to connect the dots and finally get real answers to their chronic health issues and help them get lasting improvements with a practical, sustainable, and holistic approach.

My Approach

Think of me as your personal health detective.

My job is to connect the dots — figure out what led you here, what’s going wrong inside your metabolism, and why your symptoms aren’t going away — so we can build a clear, step-by-step, data-backed plan to bring your body back into balance.

The Method

"Test, Don't Guess."

Most people stay stuck because they’re guessing what’s wrong. We use functional lab data to find the actual problems.

Step 1 — Investigate

Uncover your H.I.D.D.E.N. metabolic imbalances

Using a series of functional lab tests, we identify the deeper issues most often missed on standard labs — but that drive the majority of chronic health issues.

While both functional nutritionists and registered dietitians (RDs) are trained to support your health through nutrition, there are key differences in their approach and focus:

1. Root Cause vs. Symptom Management

  • Functional Nutritionist: Focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of symptoms. This approach goes beyond diet to consider lifestyle, stress, gut health, hormones, and more, aiming for whole-body balance.

  • Registered Dietitian (RD): Often works within conventional healthcare settings, providing evidence-based dietary guidance for managing specific health conditions or meeting general nutritional needs.

2. Personalized vs. Prescriptive

  • Functional Nutritionist: Creates highly personalized plans based on an individual’s unique biochemistry, health history, and symptoms. Functional labs and detailed assessments are often used to guide recommendations.

  • Registered Dietician (RD): May use standardized dietary guidelines, such as the USDA’s MyPlate or the DASH diet, tailored to a person’s condition (e.g., diabetes or heart disease).

3. Scope of Focus

  • Functional Nutritionist: Takes a holistic approach, considering the interplay between diet, gut health, hormones, stress, sleep, and environmental factors to optimize overall health.

  • Registered Dietician (RD): Typically focuses on nutritional education, meal planning, and managing conditions like diabetes, high cholesterol, or malnutrition.

5. Tools and Strategies

  • Functional Nutritionist: May use functional lab testing (e.g., stool tests, hormone panels, or mineral tests) to uncover deeper imbalances and create targeted recommendations.

  • Registered Dietician (RD): Focuses on traditional diagnostic tools and dietary interventions approved by mainstream medical organizations.
